Valkyrie Relay operates this website from the United States. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests can always be sent to info@valkyrierelay.com.
What we collect
If you submit a form on this site — such as a contact message or a volunteer-interest form — we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and any optional details you choose to provide, such as a phone number, a topic, volunteer interests, or a message. Separately, the site records basic, aggregate visit statistics through the website platform’s built-in analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build individual profiles.
How we use it
We use form submissions to respond to your request and to communicate with you about the relevant race or volunteer opportunity. We use aggregate site statistics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not enroll you in marketing email lists without your separate consent.
Who processes it
This website is built and hosted on Framer, which also processes and stores form submissions on our behalf. When you submit a form, a notification email is sent to Valkyrie Relay. Like any website, we rely on service providers — hosting, form processing and email delivery — that necessarily process information in order to operate the site and get your message to us. Submissions — including city-interest submissions (selected city and optional email) and newsletter signups (name, email address, and any race locations you select) — may also be stored in a spreadsheet in Valkyrie Relay’s own Google Drive. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it beyond the limited sharing required to operate the website and respond to your request.
How long we keep it
We keep raw form submissions for no longer than 24 months, and we delete them earlier once your inquiry is resolved and there is no remaining operational reason to keep them. Deletion is currently handled manually by Valkyrie Relay administrators.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the information you have submitted at any time by emailing info@valkyrierelay.com. We will act on the request as quickly as we reasonably can.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards through the services we rely on, but no website or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact info@valkyrierelay.com and we will delete it.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not use advertising or marketing cookies. The only analytics currently active is the website platform’s built-in, cookieless, aggregate measurement described above.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add new tools or forms — we will update this policy and change the effective date at the top of the page.
